HONOURS Among the earliest successes of the Markowitsch estate, being selected as Falstaff magazine’s ‘Winegrower of the Year’ in 1999 stands out, as does the ‘A La Carte Trophée Gourmet’ for 2008. But then, we were equally pleased with Falstaff listing us among the 25 reader’s favourite estates for 2005. These accolades are certainly an important confirmation of the love that we have for our wines. Nevertheless we do not rest upon our laurels, because it’s important to us that each year’s achievement surpasses the previous; this finds us constantly engaged with improving our wines, and making them even more special for you.
