WEISSER BURGUNDER An intense and very complex representative of the Pinot family; one by no means withholding in the fruit department, while at the same time singularly elegant for its expression of salty minerality tightly-woven texture.
50-year-old vines on the Spitzerberg. A wine that has a long life ahead of it, in which it is sure to continually unfold new layers of flavour.

  • site & Soil due to the nearby forest this site is perfect for white wine
  • harvest selection by hand, end of September
  • fermentation spontaneous, in 228L French oak casks at 20-25°C, followed by malolatic fermentation
  • élevage 12 months in 228L casks on the full lees
  • Alcohol 13.2% vol
  • residual sugar 1.2g/l
  • acidity 5.0g/l
  • food pairing THE special wine for fish dishes. A marvellous partner to a wide variety, from delicate arctic char to deep-sea fish in powerful sauces. Also for crustaceans and pasta with white truffles.
